Ridgefield Aquatic Club Seeks Full-Time Assistant Coach

The Ridgefield Aquatic Club is seeking an experienced, collaborative Full-Time Assistant Coach who brings energy, technical knowledge, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to long-term athlete development. The club is a private, nonprofit, coach-led and parent-supported year-round USA Swimming club serving swimmers from pre-competitive development through national-level training. They compete within Connecticut Swimming. Compensation includes annual base salary of 49000 to 55000 dollars based on experience, performance bonus up to 5000, health insurance stipend 5250, phone allowance 1200, retirement contribution 1000, 14 paid vacation days, and expense reimbursement. Schedule involves weekday afternoons, evenings, meets, weekends, travel, and administrative hours starting as mutually agreed. Responsibilities include leading competitive and Olympic Way squads, developing training plans focusing on technique and development model, creating positive environment, attending practices and events, supporting meets, tracking progress, communicating with families, following safety policies, collaborating with head coach, and contributing to recruitment and initiatives.
