Loïs Openda, born on February 16, 2000, in Liège, Belgium, is a professional Belgian footballer who plays as a forward. A product of Club Brugge’s youth academy, he made his first-team debut in 2018 and was later loaned to Vitesse in the Dutch Eredivisie twice. In 2022, he joined Lens, where he set the record for the fastest hat-trick in Ligue 1 history, accomplishing it in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds. In 2023, he transferred to RB Leipzig for a fee of approximately €43–46 million; in his first season, he scored 24 goals, becoming the team’s top scorer. In 2024, he helped his team end Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten run in the Bundesliga. In September 2025, he was loaned to Juventus, with a conditional buyout clause valued at €40.6 million. In 2022, he was called up to the Belgian national team for the UEFA Nations League and also made the final squad for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar that same year.
