Tim Kleindienst, born on August 31, 1995, in Uetze, Germany, is a German football player who plays as a center forward. Since 2008, he has played for clubs such as Energie Cottbus and SC Freiburg; he was also loaned to and later signed by Heidenheim on two occasions. In the 2022–23 season, he won the top scorer title in the German second division with 25 goals; his late goal in the final match helped Heidenheim achieve promotion to the Bundesliga for the first time in its history. During the 2023–24 Bundesliga season, he scored twice against Bayern Munich and led the league in aerial duels (187) and sprints (1,056). In June 2024, he joined Borussia Mönchengladbach; in his first season there, he set a personal best with 16 goals and was named the team’s best player of the season. He became the team captain in the 2025–26 season. In 2015, he represented Germany’s U20 team at the FIFA U-20 World Cup. In October 2024, he made his debut for the senior national team; in November, he scored his first two international goals. In March 2025, during UEFA Nations League matches against Italy, his two headed goals across both legs helped Germany reach the semifinals of the competition for the first time.
